Cancellation Policy
Understand the terms and conditions for cancelling or modifying venue bookings made through the MandapX platform.
1 Overview
This Cancellation Policy governs all cancellations and modifications of venue bookings made through the MandapX platform. Each venue may have its own specific cancellation terms, which will be clearly displayed at the time of booking.
By making a booking through MandapX, you agree to the cancellation terms set forth by the venue operator and acknowledge that MandapX facilitates the booking but does not determine individual venue cancellation policies. We strongly recommend reviewing the cancellation policy of each venue before confirming your booking.
2 Standard Cancellation Tiers
The following standard cancellation tiers apply to most venues on our platform. However, individual venues may have different policies that supersede these tiers:

Note: These are standard tiers. Individual venue policies may differ and will be displayed at the time of booking.
3 How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a booking made through MandapX, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your MandapX account and navigate to "My Bookings" in your dashboard.
- Locate the booking you wish to cancel and click the "Cancel Booking" button.
- Review the cancellation terms and the applicable refund amount.
- Confirm the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email with the cancellation details and refund information.
Alternatively, you can contact our support team for assistance with cancellations. Please have your booking reference number ready.
4 Modifications
If you need to modify an existing booking (such as changing the date, guest count, or event type), please contact the venue directly or reach out to our support team. Modifications are subject to the venue's availability and may incur additional charges.
Date changes made more than 30 days before the original event date are generally accommodated free of charge, subject to venue availability. Changes made within 30 days may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
5 Cancellation by Venue
In the rare event that a venue cancels a confirmed booking, you will be entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid. MandapX will also assist you in finding an alternative venue for your event date.
Venue-initiated cancellations may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as structural issues, regulatory changes, or force majeure events. We will notify you immediately if a venue cancels your booking and work with you to find a suitable alternative.
6 Force Majeure
In circumstances beyond the control of MandapX, the venue, or the user (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or acts of God), cancellation and refund policies may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis.
Both parties agree to act in good faith during such events. MandapX will facilitate communication between venue seekers and venue owners to reach a fair resolution, including full refunds, rescheduling, or credit notes where appropriate.
7 Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7-14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and bank. Please allow additional processing time after the refund has been initiated by MandapX.
